Welcome to Driftsong! By playing online you agree to these simple rules.
The game is in testing
- Driftsong is an early version. Things may break, change or disappear.
- Progress may be reset while we test, for example when the game changes a lot. We'll try to warn you first.
- The server may be down sometimes for updates or repairs.
Be kind
- Be friendly to other players. No harassment, hate, threats or sharing anyone's private information.
- Pick a username that's okay for everyone to see.
Play fair
- Don't cheat: no hacking, no changing the game or its network messages, no bots that play for you.
- Don't use bugs to get Shells, Notes, items or experience. If you find one, please tell us (the feedback form in F1). Thank you!
- Don't try to attack, overload or break into the server.
If someone breaks these rules, we may reset their progress or close their account.
Your account and your things
- Your account is for you. Keep your password to yourself.
- You can delete your account at any time in the game, by yourself: F1, "Delete my account...".
- Shells, Notes, potions and everything else in the game have no real-money value. They can't be sold or traded for money, and we don't pay them out.
- The game, its world, its art and music belong to Arnold.
Feedback
When you send feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve the game, freely and without paying for them. Thank you for helping!
No promises
We work hard to keep Driftsong fun and running, but we can't promise it will always work, never lose progress, or exist forever. We're not responsible for any loss caused by playing it, as far as the law allows.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be on the website with its date. Playing after that means you accept the new version.
